Responding to Accepted with Revisions Name/SSN mismatches

This set of instructions are when you have received an Accepted With Revisions that involves name SSN mismatches. The IRS is suggesting the name and SSN do not match up based on data within their database. The employee data may be correct in which case you do NOT need to change this status.

The sample Aatrix email below is what you would typically see in the case of name SSN mismatch. The corrections below are requested for one employee and three dependents. The dependents listed are associated with the employee.


Login into HCM File > Submit Filing > Look up employee record, edit and save

After Saving all changes you wish to make for all your employees from the submit filing tab click submit IRS Filing. Those changes will be sent to the IRS and the Aatrix system will provide an update on these changes.
